Why should I trust Taxi Crete Company?

At Taxi Crete we offer easy, fast and safe taxi bookings. Professional drivers assure reliability and your on-time arrival. We don't charge any money on your booking - You may pay when you arrive at your destination.

 

I've just completed my reservation form, do I need to do anything else?

We will send you a confirmation email for your taxi reservation. Please check this carefully and let us know if any details are incorrect. Please let us know all the necessary details like flight number, contact details etc. Some e-mail may not be received due to anti-spam filters. Please check your SPAM folder and mail client and your Internet Service Provider policies (ISP).

 

What type of vehicles do You use?

All vehicles are Mercedes models (Mercedes E Class). Your taxi transfer till 4 (3 during Covid-19 measures) passengers will be organized by an E Class.

 

Is it certain that I will not pay anything else?

Yes -You have to pay only the amount for your transfer. There are no hidden charges.

 

Who will be waiting for me at the arrival destination?

Your taxi driver will wait for you at a pre-determined pick-up location in a Crete airport (Heraklion or Chania) with a poster showing your name. If you arrive by airplane your taxi driver will be waiting for you at the Arrivals lounge.

 

Do I have to tip the taxi driver ?

Tips are at your discretion. It's entirely up to you.

 

What happens if my flight is delayed?

We are in constant contact with the arrival lounges and airplane information points for that reason and we will make everything possible to adjust your vehicle pick up time. Your driver and vehicle will be waiting for you at no extra cost. Please inform us for any updated travel arrangements.

 

How long is the transfer time?

We give an indication of the distance and driving time between transfer points at the moment of booking. This information is supplied as a guidance only and not as commitment. The driver retains absolute discretion to choose the actual travel route to your destination, and it may necessarily be the most direct route.

 

I would like to be transported to a location that is not displayed as a destination.

Simply e-mail us your destination or your hotel name. We will respond to you as soon as possible.

 

We have a child with us, do you provide child seats ?

Yes, we do at no extra charge. You just have to ask for it.

 

We have a lot of luggage with us, is that a problem ?

We do our best in order to put all your luggage in a taxi. The number of the suitcases varies, depending on size and material. If this is not possible you have to get a second one.

 

I would like to book my return as well, can I?

Yes of course. You can book your return route online at the same time as you book your outbound journey. In this case you will get a discount! You can also book your return with us at a later date by contacting us.

 

When do i get the receipt ?

Payment is made in cash upon the conclusion of the transfer. Taxi is legally operated by the taximeter.

 

I want to cancel my booking. How do I proceed?

You can send an email to inform us that your booking is canceled.
